Senior government officials, policymakers, and technology leaders are set to gather for the GovMedia Summit Philippines 2026, where artificial intelligence, data integration, and cybersecurity will take center stage in advancing the country’s digital governance agenda.

The summit, organized by GovMedia, will take place on March 17, 2026, at the Makati Shangri-La in Manila. This year’s theme, “Future-Proof Governance: AI, Data, and Digital Foundations for a Resilient, Citizen-Centric Philippines,” underscores the government’s push to strengthen public service delivery through innovation and digital transformation.

As AI and data-driven technologies increasingly reshape governance models worldwide, the event aims to provide a platform for collaboration between public sector leaders and private industry stakeholders. Discussions will focus on policy priorities, operational challenges, and strategic partnerships needed to build resilient, secure, and citizen-focused digital systems.

Among the confirmed speakers are Jonathan C. Pineda, Acting Senior Vice President for the Information Technology Services Group at the Government Service Insurance System; Dr. Marcelino Q. Villafuerte II, Deputy Administrator for Research and Development at the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration; and Bently D. Roxas, Director IV of Knowledge Management and Information Technology and Chief Information Security Officer at the Department of Health.

Other notable participants include Robert S. Paguia of the Cybercrime Investigation and Coordinating Center; Franz A. de Leon of the Advanced Science and Technology Institute; Rizza Blanco-Latorre of the Public-Private Partnership Center of the Philippines; Mimrah Mahmood of Meltwater; Col.
