Just this morning, I heard news from my brother that could add more AI anxiety to people coming into 2026.
Their company (keeping them nameless for obvious reasons) replaced their entire QA department with AI.
At first, it seems like a genius move. Imagine the savings on salaries and benefits! It looks cost-effective until the reality hits: Quality Assurance is about trust.
You can automate a process, but you cannot fully automate trust. QA makes sure you aren't just doing things right, but doing the right thing for the customer.
TIme for a Reality Check:
For Business Owners: AI is like a high-speed car. It’s fast and efficient, but if you take the driver out of the seat to "save money," you’re just waiting for a high-speed crash. You need a Human-in-the-loop to keep the "conscience" in your business.
For Workers: Don't fear the machine; learn to manage it. Your job in 2026 isn't to compete with the AI’s speed—it’s to provide the judgment the AI doesn't have. Be the person who knows when the AI is hallucinating.
Deploy AI to empower your people, not just to erase them. Otherwise, we’re just building our own version of SkyNet - one bad business decision at a time. 🤣
Stay human. Stay in the loop.
